Dear Mrs. C.,
XO to you, too! This morning, the dogwood blossoms and those, those, oh phooey what are those white fluff balls of flowers that don't smell wonderful called? Well, they're still fresh and lovely.
Hugs,
Natalie

Dogwood is new to me since I've recently moved to Virginia. I think it's my favorite springtime tree.

Dear Laurie,

So you spotted the dogwood blossoms! I am surprised they don't grow in Texas; perhaps it's too dry. They are a wonder, aren't they -- so long-lasting, so different from other blossoms. There are Kousa (sp?) dogwoods, too, that bloom a little later, so the blossom season can be extended.

Ah Virginia; you live in a great, great state.

Very best,

Natalie

Dear Julie,

Thanks! It lasted a good, long while. Jeepers, I didn't know you had a Typepad blog still, or I'd have been following it.

Hugs,

Natalie
